We've teamed up with CHPT3 to create a limited edition helmet ready for summer exploration and play. The limited edition Barrivell Chapter helmet is here to help you celebrate your passion for cycling, the playfulness it brings to your life, and to keep you safe while you're exploring and playing with your city.
The city of Girona, Spain is home away from home for many cyclists, recreational and pro alike. The combination of its sunny, coastal climate; open roads; and medieval history make for incredible rides with sweeping views of the Mediterranean.
Inspired by the architecture and history of this ancient city, the CHPT3 x Thousand Chapter helmet features an homage to the Barri Vell neighborhood of Girona. The Barrivell helmet features a grey semi-gloss finish, pops of CHPT3's signature Fire Red color, and a black graphic design that serves as an homage to Girona's stone archways, stairs, and streets. The unique decal is also connected to another mutual friend of both Thousand and CHPT3 – Brompton Bikes.
CHPT3 is a British brand founded by ex-pro cyclist David Millar and focused on bringing play back into people's lives through cycling. With a common goal to create a larger, more inclusive cycling community, we partnered with CHPT3 to help more riders enjoy cycling that's fun and playful, not focused on punishing workouts or pain and glory.
Our founders didn't want to settle for gear that didn't match the way cycling fit into their lifestyles – whether that was for David as a retired racer or Gloria as a recreational rider. So they each set out to make gear that they would actually want to wear, mixing style, safety, play, and performance. Today, we're proud to offer the CHPT3 x Thousand Barrivell helmet – complete with the Chapter Collection features you love and the CHPT3 look and feel, to bring more riders under our tent and onto Team Thousand.
